Time for your favorite Indian couple's wedding! We met very early on during our first year at Georgia Tech, courtesy of Sam (Healy) Webber. Although we had very different schedules, we hung out intermittently, gradually becoming good friends and staying that way throughout our time at Tech. We would often go months without hanging out but we easily picked up where we left off. To start the series of clichés that you will also experience through our engagement and then wedding, we connected over Bollywood movies. You know you’ve found a true friend when you two can bond over the most classic Indian love story (which happens to be 99.9% of movies). Although we may not have been best friends in the traditional sense, we both had a high level of comfort with each because of our similar upbringings and interests. After we graduated in 2015, Sid continued to bother Aditi about her diploma. He needed his for a Saudi Arabian visa and since we had both graduated at the same time, he wanted to check the status of her diploma. Constant persistence evolved into mutual conversation and eventually all-night FaceTime calls. After months of talking and hanging out intermittently, we both knew. For Aditi’s birthday, Sid offered to take her on a trip anywhere she wanted. We eventually ended up going to Montreal, where Sid asked her to go out with him. At that moment we both knew this was going to be a lifetime commitment. Being great friends with someone before you date them truly changes the trajectory of a relationship. Join us for one of our many special days ahead!
